This abstract painting shows the Arctic Ocean from above. I didn't have a template and created the composition as I imagined it. I tried to create a certain three-dimensionality in the painting using various texture pastes. Ice floes and larger areas of ice can be seen. In relation to climate change and increased plant production in the Arctic Ocean due to rising water temperatures, I not only worked with shades of blue, but also had the ice break up over green water. The canvas is "recycled", meaning that an existing motif that was also covered with structures was painted over.
The painting is signed on the back and comes securely packaged. You will also receive a certificate for authentication.
